What’s new in PhysioSensing Software?

Hello!

We have exciting news for all PhysioSensing users!

Staying true to our DNA, we are constantly evolving and improving PhysioSensing software. Our updates are driven by two key pillars: scientific evidence and the invaluable feedback and ideas from our clients.

Let’s not be modest here — PhysioSensing offers a strong clinical foundation for both balance assessment and training. With over 14 assessment protocols with detailed reports, more than 30 exercises, and 6 therapeutic games, it’s a comprehensive tool. But don’t just take our word for it — see for yourself!

Our focus has always been on helping people with balance disorders. That’s what drives us forward.

Here are the main updates:

  1. Two New Games: Space Sway and Break Your Balance

    • Space Sway brings a fresh twist to balance training, moving away from traditional shapes and figures to an engaging new theme using the Center of Pressure (CoP).

    • Break Your Balance introduces squats as a gameplay element, pushing patients to improve strength and stability.

  2. Improved Center of Pressure (CoP) Control

    • The CoP tracking is now more precise, smooth, and responsive. While extracting CoP data from a platform is relatively straightforward, achieving refined and intuitive control is a challenge — and we’ve nailed it! Nobody wants to play with clunky or erratic controls.

  3. Normative Data as an Option

    • Some practitioners value normative data, while others prefer not to include it in assessment reports. That’s why we’ve made this feature optional.

    • Normative data was often perceived too rigidly, with results labeled as simply “good” or “bad,” reinforced by green and red visuals. We understand that’s not the best approach. The true power of PhysioSensing lies in tracking each patient’s baseline and individual progress.

  4. Enhanced Visual Stimuli

    • All visual stimuli have been redesigned to make the experience even more immersive.

  5. Other Updates

    • We’ve also corrected various bugs and made additional minor improvements.

We hope these updates make a meaningful difference in your work with patients.

If you’re a PhysioSensing user, don’t hesitate to request your software update today! And as always, we’re eager to hear your ideas to help us continue evolving.

Stay tuned — more exciting features are coming soon!
